2nd INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY PRIZE MONDO GALERIA
aiming to discover new talent in the world of contemporary photography creation.
MONDO GALERIA presents the second edition of its INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY PRIZE MONDO GALERIA with the goal to find new talent in the world of photography.
The theme for this contest will be "Truth", focusing on photography narrative through a group of images. The contestants will have to provide a portfolio of work formed of 5 to 10 original photographs and an introduction text outlining their concept.

Everything revolves around a "truth" but the truth is not something established although it is pretended to be.
The truth or our truth depends on how we perceive the universe, something can be true and not be true at the same time. Truth is a word invented and deformed by humanity. It's like the absolute shackle of what you must believe to not to be outside. To absorb and to project our truth on a galaxy is the way to make that truth universal, it is the way to break with established norms and be a rational part of the nothingness of that truth that represents us.
Truth is the biggest lie that we have believed.

To broaden our selection criteria we have formed a jury of professiolnals from around the world who specialized in different fields of photography.

All submissions will be reviewed by the jury and graded through a 3 steps voting system, until 1 winner and 9 runners up are selected.
Winners portfolio will be featured on Amante Magazine.
1 of the 9 runners up will be selected for a portfolio review by Periscope|Photoscouting team.
The winner will have a solo exhibition at MONDO GALERIA – Madrid – during PHOTOESPAÑA 2018 festival.
1 image selected from each of the 9 runners up will be presented at MONDO GALERIA – Madrid – during the period of that exhibition.
EXTENDED DEADLINE!
Deadline for submissions is 15th 21th March 2018 at 24hs (Madrid time, CET, UTC/GMT +1 hour).
The winner will be announced on April 1st 15th 2018.
