About us

MONDO GALERIA is a contemporary art gallery focused on photography. It is located in Madrid, Spain. We offer to our followers our view on contemporary photography. To achieve this goal, we beleive that it is necessary to understand the past and the future of this contemporary art, its different applications, media and connotations.

Aware that photography thrives on design and design nurture on photography, we have opened gaps of collaboration with designers and industrial design firms to create a symbiosis between these two contemporay disciplines.

We have exhibited photographers such as Lawrence Schiller (USA), Antoine d’Agata (France), Laurent Zylberman (France), Gueorgui Pinkhassov (Russia), Alfred Wertheimer (USA), Renato D’Agostin (Italy), Jacob Aue Sobol (Denmark), Caleb Charland (USA), Manuel Geerinck (Belgium) or Pep Bonet (Spain), Carlos Givaja (Spain), Paco y Manolo (Spain), César Ordóñez (Spain), Andrea Santolaya (Spain), Joséphine Douet (France) and others.

We have collaborated with agencies as Magnum Photos o Graphix-Images and with galleries as Les Filles du Calvaire (Paris), Mc2 (Milan), Sous les Etoiles (New York), Antonio Nardone (Brussels) and with institutions as Academia de las Artes y las Ciencias Cinematográficas de España, Instituto Italiano de Cultura en Madrid, Institut Francaise de Madrid, Embassy of United States of America in Madrid or Museo de Memoria y Tolerancia en México D.F. and Fundación EUROIDIOMAS in Perú.

MONDO GALERIA has participated in the past three editions of Photoespaña festival OFF, as well as in international art fairs as Fotofever (Paris), Off (Brussels), Cutlog (Paris), MIA (Milano) or Madrid photo and Casa/Arte (Madrid).
